SMS Terms
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These SMS Terms explain how Marketsoft Services Pty Ltd (Marketsoft, we, us, our) sends marketing text messages (SMS), how you agree to receive them and how you can stop them. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who sends the messages
Marketsoft sends our marketing text messages through Ontraport, our email and SMS marketing platform. We only send text messages to Australian mobile numbers.
2. What you’ll receive
Our text messages share our newsletter and useful resources, for example invitations to our events.
3. How you agree
Each of our website forms says, under its button: “We’ll keep you in the loop with our newsletter and useful resources by email and SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time.” (on forms that email you what you asked for, it begins “We’ll email you a copy and keep you in the loop”)
When you send one of our website forms (to make an enquiry, book a chat, download a resource or register as a partner) with an Australian mobile number, you agree to receive our marketing text messages, as well as our marketing emails.
- You can opt out at any time, including straight after you send a form (section 5).
- We only send text messages to Australian mobile numbers.
4. How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies. We don’t charge you to receive our text messages or to opt out of them. Your mobile provider’s standard message and data rates may apply, including when you reply to us.
5. How to stop
You can stop at any time:
- text messages: reply STOP to any of our text messages;
- emails: use the unsubscribe link in any of our marketing emails; or
- either or both: contact us (section 12).
Text messages and emails are separate, so opting out of one doesn’t stop the other. To stop both, opt out of each, or contact us and ask us to stop both. We will act on your request within five business days.
6. What every message includes
Every marketing text message we send identifies Marketsoft as the sender, tells you how to contact us and tells you how to opt out.
7. The records we keep
When you send one of our forms, we keep a record of your consent: your name, email address and phone number, the form you used, the date and time, and the wording shown on the form. If you opt out, we keep a record of that too, so that we continue to respect it.
8. If you change your number
If you change or stop using your mobile number, please tell us, or reply STOP to one of our text messages before you give it up, so that our messages don’t go to the next person who has that number.
9. We will never ask for passwords or bank details
We will never ask you for passwords, bank account or credit card details, or other financial information by text message. If you receive a text message that claims to be from Marketsoft and asks for these, don’t reply to it or open its links, and please contact us.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information, including your mobile number, and how you can access or correct it or make a complaint. Ontraport, and the providers it uses to deliver text messages, may store or process your information outside Australia.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will tell you, for example on our website or by email.
