Privacy Policy

At Marketsoft we are proud of the manner in which we protect the privacy of our client’s databases. This has become of even greater importance since the introduction, on 21st December 2001, of the Privacy Act (1988) (‘the Act”) and the National Privacy Principles (“NPP’s”). By virtue of the nature of the services we provide we inevitably receive or have access to personal information held by our clients.

In compliance with the Act and the ten NPP’s we do not use any information received from our clients other than to provide that client with our services nor do we disclose to any third party personal information received from our clients unless expressly authorised to do so. We have security systems and practices designed to protect personal information received from our client’s data. This data is kept secure and is protected from misuse, loss or unauthorised access and once the information is no longer required it is destroyed.

We encourage the existence of confidentiality agreements between Marketsoft, our customers and other suppliers and will gladly sign these on request. Our staff also sign such agreements at the commencement of employment with Marketsoft.
